Bethany Wesleyan Church is a missions-minded people, supporting both local and global communities. In 2025, Global Partners named BWC the top-giving congregation in the Northeast District of the Wesleyan Church. Below you will find a few ways to help make a tangible difference in this upcoming year!
Missions firewood
One practical way the BWC Missions team earns funds for mission projects is through the sale of firewood. Plan to join us at BWC Cherryville during any of the upcoming dates in 2026 to help cut firewood. Bring a chainsaw and/or splitter if you have them!
eyeglasses donation
We have partnered with Medical Missions Outreach, a global organization that provides free eye care and glasses to people in developing nations by recycling used eyeglasses. We have a glasses donation receptacle in the South Connector lobby at BWC Cherryville. Please bring your prescription glasses, readers, and sunglasses to help make a meaningful difference for those in need!
