Matthew Tapper - MS
For as long as he can remember, Matthew has been adept at listening and developing relationships. In college he felt called to a career in Psychology, hoping one day to provide counsel. In 2013, Matthew began his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and since then, his passion for God and helping people has grown through a unique understanding of people, their problems, and how everything can change.
In addition to the wealth of experience gained through his training, Matthew has excelled in multiple positions since graduating in 2015. These include Mobile Therapist, Behavioral Specialist Consultant, and Outpatient Therapist. No matter the position, Matthew believes his job is to put himself out of a job by helping all types of people know their value and experience the personal freedom they’re looking for. Currently, he is seeing clients in a service called Systemic Counseling, utilizing insights gained from his training as a therapist as well as his current PhD Program in Marriage and Family Therapy. Matthew believes God has brought him to BWC for a reason, and he intends to put everything on the line to see that reason fulfilled.

Christine Sherwood - M.Ed.
From a young age, Christine had the desire to help people in need. Listening, caring for, and working through the hard questions were areas in which she thrived. In 2000, she began her Masters of Education at Lehigh University with a focus on Psychology. Christine has been blessed to have worked with other Christians in the field since that time. After she graduated from college, God led Christine to Dr. Kelly, the founder of Keystone counseling, where her journey began. Growing connections in other areas, she has been counseling at BWC since 2006, as well as working as a behavioral therapist specializing in Autism at the CLIU#21 since 2009. She feels that her life has been extremely blessed, not only in her career but also with her husband, Jamie, and two teen boys, Connor and Jack. Christine and her family desire to help others live a life that is fulfilled, productive, and filled with God's love. She is grateful to be a part of the BWC Counseling team and looks forward to helping people in any season of life.
